AcupuncturistSacha Landreneau is licensed by the California State Acupuncture Board, Arizona Acupuncture Board of Examiners, New York State of Board of Medical Examiners, certified by the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners, and nationally certified as a Diplomat of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAAOM). Sacha holds a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine as well as a Master of Science in Acupuncture from the New York College of Health Professions. Sacha has completed advanced training in Dr. Tan Balance Method and Acutonics. “My deep desire to help people heal has led me to open HCA and I look forward to more San Diegans discovering the amazing benefits this beautiful medicine has to offer!”

AcupuncturistOscar Talamantes is licensed by the California State Acupuncture Board. He graduated in 2007 from Emperor’s College with a Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. Since 2009, Oscar has managed his own practice at Oasis Healing Center in Los Angeles, providing treatments that focus on healing stress, pain, and digestive disorders. Oscar recently worked at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. He supervised the herbal medicinary operations, trained Chinese medical students and compounded and prepared Chinese herbal formulas for doctors and patients, in the clinic as well as around the nation. He is a strong advocate of movement therapy having 20 years of experience in the internal martial arts such as Qi gong, Taiji, Xing yi and Ba gua. Oscar is also fluent in Spanish. “My passion lies in helping others heal themselves through acupuncture, nutrition, bodywork, and lifestyle counseling.”

AcupuncturistCarol Song is licensed by the California State Acupuncture Board, nationally certified as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine by the NCCAAOM, and holds a Masters of Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College. She has worked in community acupuncture for over 5 years in Los Angeles and San Diego, prior to which she specialized in reproductive medicine. In addition to being an acupuncturist, Carol is a birth doula and yoga instructor. She created Restoring Fertility, a 4-part yoga DVD series for enhancing fertility, and has extensive experience working with couples trying to conceive. She clinically trained a team of practitioners to provide acupuncture for patients undergoing IVF procedures, and she has also specialized in treating male factor infertility. “I am deeply committed to the Community Acupuncture model of providing affordable and accessible services to a diverse patient population. Community Acupuncture is the perfect intersection of my social ideals and clinical practice.”

lina_yerkesLina Yerkes is licensed by the California State Acupuncture Board and holds an Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She has experience in treating patients with various disorders, including acute and chronic pain, cancer and gynocological abnormalities. Lina has advanced training in fertility and breast health as well as Five Element acupuncture. “I firmly believe that good health and vitality are possible at any age! I am committed to helping as many people achieve this through Chinese Medicine.”

acupuncture therapyPolly is Sacha’s sweet little pup. She comes from Mexico and is a Bichon/Poodle mix. If you need some extra special healing she will sit on your lap and give you some love! “I love to help humans feel better. They are all too stressed out!”
